Lynley Bitton Dean, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 18, 2026, after ongoing health complications. Lynley was born on November 29, 1970, in Ogden, Utah, to Radene Johnson and Ronald Bitton. She grew up in North Ogden, Utah and graduated from Weber High School in 1989.
Lynley married her true love Lyn Dean on September 25, 1993, in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed together for time and all eternity in the Bountiful Utah Temple. Together they lovingly raised four children. Lynley was a wonderful mother and ensured her family was always happy, healthy, and well taken care of.
As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lynley always served faithfully and enjoyed bringing her creativity and fun personality to every calling she had. She especially loved serving in Young Womens and being able to attend Girl’s Camp trips with her daughters. Lynley’s strong testimony of her Savior was evident in the way she served and loved others and in the way she lived her life.
Although she endured many challenges, Lynley could always find something to be happy about. She loved spending time with her husband and children and being a “Granny” to her granddaughter Blazie. She loved everything poetry, reading and writing, scrapbooking, and music. All who knew her can agree that she was truly the epitome of kindness and that her sense of humor was unmatched. Lynley loved all her friends and neighbors and was always there for everyone around her. She was truly a light in the lives of all who knew her.
Lynley is survived by her husband, Lyn; her children, Gentry, Maegan (Tyson), Amelia (Preston), and Damon (Eden); her granddaughter, Blazie; her mother, Radene; her siblings, Mark (Charisse), Wendy (Lyle), and Scott (Kylee); and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
