Ms. Shirley Jean Johnson passed away Sunday morning, October 10, 2021 at her residence with family and loved ones by her side. She was born June 7, 1931 in Ogden UT, the daughter of Gerald Bernell and Kathleen Margarete (Kelly) Etterlein.

She attended St. Joseph Catholic School through 11th grade continued on to graduate from Ogden High School.  She worked many years in the title company industry as an escrow agent at Security Title, Utah Title, Abstract Title and Founder Title Company.  Later on in her career she became a Licensed Real Estate Agent at Real Estate Investments and was also a registered notary.

She was part of Ogden Weber Chamber of Executive Committee, and Ogden Women's Council of Realtors. She enjoyed cooking and hosting dinner parties. She is known for her famous recipes, shrimp dip, candy, salads and fish and chips. You could never leave her home hungry. She had a passion for shopping; she knew how to find all the good deals. She also enjoyed Bunko, golfing, quilting and traveling. Shirley was caring, thoughtful and inspiring. She made everyone feel special.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, James JP Johnson, Clearance C Gale, Eugene J Judkins and Robert E Woodbury; brothers, William (Shirley) Etterlein and Robert K (Sophia) Etterlein; sisters, Betty L (Willard) Winward, Kathleen (Jeri) Morel and Jeraldine C (J. C.) Hopkins; and son, Gregory S (Jerlyn) Woodbury.

Shirley is surviving by her sisters, Patricia M (Rod) Waite and Mary (Bob) Merrill; daughter, Judy M (Alan) Dennis; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, she also leaves many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will sadly miss her.

Celebration of life and Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. with sharing of memories Shirley by family and friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Followed by a luncheon at 1 p.m. LDS Church, 1401 E South Weber Dr. South Weber, UT 84405
