Sherrie Miller

July 10, 1944 – July 18, 2021

It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Sherrie was born on July 10, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah and was raised by her loving parents Wilda and Lloyd Hamblin.

Sherrie graduated from West High in 1962 and then met the love of her life, Henry Miller, on a blind date. They were married in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and all eternity and have been together for 52 wonderful years. They have four sons, one daughter, and 16 grandchildren. Together they loved to go camping and travel the world.

Sherrie had many talents such as decorating cakes; knitting, making porcelain dolls, and collecting anything bear themed. She looked for any excuse to throw a party to enjoy the company of family and friends! She loved to take pictures, especially of her dog and grandchildren.

Sherrie had the most beautiful blue, sparkling eyes that everyone admired. Her spunky personality and loving heart touched so many. She served many callings in the church including primary president, teacher, stake missionary and singing in the choir.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother Rodger. She is survived by her husband Henry, her five children: Jonathan, Chad (Shannon), Jody (Scott), Andrew (Mindy), Jeremiah (Jennifer), and 16 grandchildren.

She was cherished by family and friends and will be deeply missed!

We would like to thank Applegate Hospice Care and Visiting Angels for the loving care they provided to our sweet mother.
