Shelley Wengreen Jackson

1954-2021

Shelley Wengreen Jackson, 66, passed away after a courageous battle with brain cancer on May 7, 2021, at her home in Woods Cross, Utah.  Shelley was born august 19, 1954, to Arthur Dean and Margaret Ann Demos Wengreen, the fourth of twelve children.  Shelley attended schools in Cache Valley Utah, until graduation from Sky View High School in 1972.  In 2002 she married George Eric Jackson.  Shelley spent her career working for Schreiber Foods, Unisys, and Automated Data Processing.  Shelley was self-employed for several years, before retiring in 2010.

Shelley was an avid reader, phenomenal gardener, loved all animals, and had many pets throughout her life.  Pictures of the nieces and nephews are throughout her home.  Shelley loved all her more than 100 nieces and nephews, and they could always count on Aunt Shelley to be there for their celebrations.  There was never a family event where Shelley would not find a way to attend.  Supporting her family was always priority to her.  Shelley was a beautiful, free-spirited, intuitive, loving person that will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother Margaret, father Dean, stepmother Norma Wengreen, brothers David and Mark, and mother-in-law Sharol Jackson Morris.

Survived by her husband Eric Jackson and dog Zoey, brothers and sisters: Stuart (Brenda), Debra (Jay), Cory, Kristine (Kim), Leslie (Scott), Jeffrey (Kathy), Sydney (Kim), Angela, Spencer (Kris), Bartona (John), father-in-law Bruce (Dixie), brother and sister-in-laws Jon (Sandy), Tami, Janica (Rob), and step brothers and sisters Bodell (Mark), Callie (Blair), Kymm (Dave), Becky (Dave), Jed (Jill), Audra (Keith), Jann (Paul), and Leonard, and by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Shelley requested memorial contributions in her honor be made to an animal charity or food bank of choice.

A memorial celebration of life open house will be held in Shelley's honor. Please join us at your convience from 5:30 – 8:30 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the LDS Meetinghouse at 1509 W. 1500 S. Woods Cross, Utah, 84087.
