Reynold Melvin Rigby

August 22, 1955 ~ March 22, 2020

Reynold Melvin Rigby passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 due to heart failure. Reynold was born on August 22, 1955 in Salt Lake City to Melvin William and Rita Vayon Setterburg Rigby.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon Rigby and two sons, Nicholas Jay Rigby and his wife, Nicole Vela Rigby and Michael Lee Rigby and his wife,  Nicole Heaton Rigby; brothers, Randall and Rulon and sister, Rolayne. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Scott Rigby; parents and brother.

Reynold and Shannon were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on December 12, 1974.

Early in life he enjoyed riding motorcycles and earned a pilot license to fly small planes. During his life he held many jobs that in his moral code always put the customer first. Those who knew him in life knew of his sense of humor and quick wit.

He loved and cared for all his grandchildren, Julianna, Rowan, Melody, Alec, Evangeline, and Lillian; and step-grandson, Andrew. Another love of his was to always have a cat for comfort.

During his lifetime he had a great love of traveling at the last minute.

He held many important positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He will be greatly missed and will always be loved by those who knew him whether by family or friends.
