Nathaniel Hall

Nathaniel Hall was born in Quentin Mississippi from the union of Dewitt Hall and Addie Mae Tillman. Nathaniel’s parents, brothers, and sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by a host of nephews, nieces, and in-laws.

Nathaniel Hall and Ida Mae Knox were united by Rites of Matrimony on April 19, 1952. He often bragged about the fun, joy, and love that grew during their 69 years of marriage.

 Nathaniel began a career at the Air Force Logistics Command, Missile Division, Missile Ground Equipment Repair Section on Hill Air Force Base, Utah as an equipment and aircraft mechanic on October 12, 1951. He obtained the skills and knowledge to be a certified electrician, instrument sealer and painter before he retired on June 1, 1987. He was recognized for commendable effort and contributions with the Air Force Logistics Command Bronze Zero Defects Award - 1 May 1965 to 31 May 1965 and Silver Zero Defects Award - 1 January 1967 to 31 March 1967. He was bestowed the Department of the Air Force, Certificate of Service, on October 21, 1971, for 20 years of faithful career support to his wife.

 The family extends a special thank you to the medical staff and service providers at Davis Hospital and Medical Center, Atlas Homecare & Hospice, Tanner Clinic, Rocky Mountain Care Clinic, Layton Utah Hematology Oncology, and friends for giving care.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the mortuary.
