Max G. Hancey “Together Again” Our father, brother, grandfather and friend, Max G. Hancey returned home to our Heavenly Father after battling a long illness. He was born on May 15, 1932 to loving parents Clive and Clara Hancey. Growing up in a family of six, Dad was the youngest. He had an incredible sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He will be greatly missed by his surviving children Michael K. (Cathy) Hancey, of Dietrich, ID; Jill (Jay) Elliott of Springville; Carolyn (Robert) Wiechert of Magna, and Angie Hancey of Springville, UT. His grandchildren Tara, Dylan, Rachael, Cody, Elizabeth, Lane, Erin, Rebecca and Jenna. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Marge Hancey of Clearfield, Dee Lunden of Sun City, AZ and dear friend and neighbor Kay Bigler, whom he married later after Nan’s death. Preceded in death by his parents, eternal companion Nancy Merlene Shumway Hancey, brothers Jack, Wayne and Bill Hancey; sisters Afton Warr and Elaine Gardiner; grandson Benjamin Max Hancey. We all give you a standing ovation for a life well led! We’ll miss you!! Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, July 3, 2009 at the Bountiful 16th Ward Chapel, 720 E. 550 N. where friends may call from 9:30 – 10:45 am prior to services. Interment Kanab City Cemetery, Friday July 3rd at 12 noon. Funeral directors Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary. Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
