Maude Hickman

Maude Verdawn Gregerson Hickman, 84, passed away in the arms of those who love her in Ogden, Utah on August 27, 2016.

Verdawn was born on March 14, 1932 in Saint George, Utah, the youngest child of Arthur Gregerson and Maude Sylvester. The family is now reunited on the other side of the veil. We can hear the party all the way down here.

She attended Dixie High School and LDS Business College and had a life time desire to learn and grow. Her passion in life was her family, both immediate and extended.  She has a deep and abiding faith in god and tried to bring this into the lives of all those she loved.

She is survived by three daughters, four sons, 38 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her Husband Carlos Hickman and her son Lee Eagar.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 7th Ward, 331 South 50 West, Kaysville, Utah.  Friends may visit family Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

The family would like to express many thanks to the staff of Apple Village who provided kind and tender care for the last 4 years.
