Kevin H. W. H. Steele

December 20, 1990 - December 10, 2017

Kevin was born in Layton, Utah to Michael and Hilda Steele.  His parents divorced while he was young and his mother later married Keith Rayl whom assisted in his upbringing.

Kevin graduated from Northridge High School in 2009 and attended some college.  He eventually landed a job at the Smith’s Grocery warehouse in Layton.  While there he made many friends and worked with many great people.

Kevin’s death was a shock to everyone who knows him.  He was always a fun loving guy who kept everyone in stitches of laughter!  He always had a comeback for anyone’s remark, and he was rarely serious.  He became a very responsible adult along with his great personality.

Kevin is survived by his sweetheart Brooke Nelson and their two adorable daughters Chevelle and Hazel, his mom and step-dad Hilda and Keith Rayl, his father Michael Steele (Denise), brothers and sisters: Sara (Chad) Langford, Carrie (Albert) Herras, Holly (Joseph) Child, Sander (Marianna) Anderson, Blake (Danell) Rayl and lot of nieces and nephews: Michaela, Erikai, Katey, Acacia, Elora, Lylla, A.J., Sander, Katie, Ashlyn, Lydia, Paisley and Michael.  He was preceded in death by his nephew Jahrel.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd.  Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
