Kenneth Halterman

Kenneth Lowder Halterman loving father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 16, 2016.  He was born April 1, 1944 in Cedar City, Utah the son of Marion Pendelton and Varian Lowder Halterman.

He graduated from Bingham High School in 1962. He then served a LDS mission in Northern California. Ken married the love of his life, Alice Ann Adair in 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised three beautiful children in Centerville, Utah. Ken retired after 23 years in the law enforcement and went on to other fun adventures.

Kens greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved rock art, gardening, rescuing pets, charity work, and socializing with friends & family.

He is survived by his wife, Alice of 48 years and their two children: Kenneth Rocky Halterman (Kendra), Christian Lance Halterman (Tina Joy); grandchildren; Hunter Kone, Cole Halterman, Marley Halterman: siblings; Roger Halterman, Don Halterman, Casey Nagel, Judy Milano. Ken was preceded in death by his daughter Kenna Ann Peterson (Miguel) and brother Gordon Halterman.

A celebration of Ken’s life for family & friends will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Pavilion behind the Farmington Stake Center 347 S. 200 W. Farmington, Utah from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
