Ida L. Cunningham WASHINGTON TERRACE – Ida Luella Street Cunningham, 95, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at her home. She was born February 15, 1912 in Park City, Utah, a daughter of George H. and Henryetta Gibson Street. On October 30, 1929, Ida married Herbert William “Bud” Cunningham in Salt Lake City. Bud preceded her in death on December 7, 1961. She was raised and educated in Park City moving to Washington Terrace in 1944 where she resided until her death. Ida was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Washington Terrace 7th Ward. She worked for the Ogden Arsenal, Naval Supply Depot, Hill Air Force Base and Defense Depot Ogden, retiring after 29 years of service. Ida loved to dance, even at age 95, and was always the life of the party. She also enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, canning and most of all, making others happy. Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Thomas (Sharon) Cunningham, and Richard Cunningham, both of Washington Terrace; Guy Cunningham, Clinton; Wilma Jean (David) Hansen, Murray; sons-in-law Bud Elliott, Roy; Curtis Stout, Huntsville, AL; daughter-in-law Janet Cunningham, No. Salt Lake; 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Thelma A. Ross, Willard. Preceding Ida in death are her parents, one sister, five brothers, husband, son Wesley Cunningham, daughters Sally Elliott and Bernice Stout, daughter-in-law Marie Cunningham, and two great-grandchildren. Special thanks to her son Dick, Enterprise Hospice, Pinnacle Hospice and Dr. Peter Clemens for their loving care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Email condolences to the family at: www.lindquistmortuary.com
