Gilbert Edward “Giedo” Trujillo, Jr.

July 12, 1969 ~ May 12, 2021

On Wednesday, May 12, 2021, our Heavenly Father wrapped his arms around Gilbert Edward “Giedo” Trujillo, Jr., 51, and called for him. Gilbert was born July 12, 1969, son of Gilbert Trujillo, Sr. and Kandice Trujillo Lucero. He was born and raised in Ogden, Utah.

He was married twice and divorced. He is survived by his three daughters, Lacey Trujillo (Ricky Lopes), Cheyenne and Nalean; and two grandchildren, Isaiah 12 and Olivia 4; three sisters, Correen Trujillo (Martin Vasquez), Valerie Trujillo and Jamie Trujillo; and three brothers.

Gilbert’s interests were in culinary arts. He became District Manager of Costa Vida throughout Ogden; he then managed for Sundance. His main interest was cooking. He loved to cook. He was currently employed at Doc Brundys Cafe and Luxury Lanes in Spanish Fork. He also loved hanging with the “homeboy” as he would say. They were like his brothers, Jaun and Valerid Flores “JayJay”, Jose Abrego, Daniel Quinones and many more. He also loved his dogs and cats; they were his animal babies. Let’s not forget his cars that he loved. Giedo was a true Cowboys fan for life! He was also a very clean freak, and his Momma was proud of that!

Gilbert “Giedo”, as he was known by, was a very easy going and loved by many. He loved his family and his kids with all of his heart.

Friends may visit with family on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment will be on May 21, 2021 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
