Cody James Daybell, 22, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 11, 2010.

He was born April 7, 1988 in Layton Utah, the son of Bryan Glen Daybell and Teresa Marie Ballard. He was raised in Clinton, Utah, and also lived in Andrews, Texas with his mom, and Layton, Utah with his grandma Janice.

Cody was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood.

He had worked in the construction industry and the oil fields of Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and loved doing anything in the outdoors. He was especially good at snowboarding and he loved fishing, hunting, and camping.

Cody was blessed to have a huge family that loved and adored him and will miss him more than words can express. He is survived by his parents, Teresa Ballard, Bryan and Terrie Daybell, Shelly Dunn; his grandparents, Janice and Norman Connelly, Lynn Daybell, Claudine and Bruce Butters, Sharon & Bill Hudson, William Ballard; his great-grandmother, Laverne Evans. He was also survived by his three brothers, Zackary Daybell, Brandon (Taisha) Daybell, and Shawn McElroy; eleven sisters, Kelsey Daybell, Taira (Kyle) McMurray, Megan Posell, Charlie Ivins, Breann Goyen, Paige Ivins, Rachel (Eric) Russell, Jacklyn Posell, Jessica Posell, Bethanie Ballard, and Hataya McWhorter. He is also survived by his best friend, Jake Phelps and dozens of aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 16th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet friends on Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30-10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Park City Cemetery.
