Clifton S. Corey
Clifton S. Corey, 85, passed away April 13, 2021 at his home.
He was born May 14, 1935 the son of M. D. and Donnie Perry Corey in Williamston, North Carolina.
He married Rowena C. on September 3, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Clifton served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant.
He was a member of the FIL-AM Association.
Clifton enjoyed golf, cooking and helping those in need.
He is survived by his wife Rowena, Layton; sons, Jimmy Corey, Dawson, Georgia; Shuji Corey, Raleigh, North Carolina; daughter, Kimberly Corey, Greenville, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
