Caryldon Purdy Nancollas, 83, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away in Layton, Utah on November 3, 2019.

Carl was born November 4, 1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Clarence Edward Nancollas and Louise Pearl Purdy.  He was raised by his grandparents, Mom and Dad Purdy and attended schools in Winnipeg where he later met his sweetheart, Martha.

Carl and Martha were married August 31, 1955 and later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.  They lived the first part of their married years in Winnipeg and Calgary, Canada and later moved to Lewiston, Utah where they raised their four children.  Carl was self-employed since moving from Canada to Utah in 1967.

Carl was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served in many leadership positions.  A highlight of his life was when he and Martha served together as missionaries in Sydney, Australia and Mexico City, Mexico.

Carl Nancollas is survived by his wife Martha and children; Kim Kap (Kelly) of Pleasant View, UT, Daryl Nancollas (Nansi) of Murray, UT, Patti Isaacson of Layton, UT, and Tanner Nancollas (Monica) of Ogden, UT, 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a grandson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday,  November 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Layton Hills Stake Center, 2300 University Park Blvd. (1200 W.), Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
