August 13, 1997 ~ February 24, 2016

Braden Richard Jackson, 18, of Syracuse, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2016 at his home. He was born August 13, 1997 in Washington Terrace, Utah.

He was enrolled at Clearfield High School. In Jr High he enjoyed being on the wrestling team. As a sophomore he loved participating in the Jr ROTC program. He was an avid gamer. He was also an airsoft war enthusiast and enjoyed those he interacted with in those worlds. He was a member of the Syracuse 3rd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but also considered the Buffalo Ridge Ward “his”. He was a licensed ham radio operator and an Eagle Scout. He was an Eagle Scout, patriotic and had a special place in his heart for our armed forces.

Braden is preceded in death by his father, Richard Eldon Jackson and his niece Whitney Shreeve.

Braden is survived by his mother Holly DeVuyst Jackson, Siblings: Jeffrey (Camille), Timothy (Katrina), Jennifer/Andi (Jack), Sarah (Tyler), Jonathan (Sarah), Amy (Travis), Tiffany (Austin), Benjamin, Matthew, and grandmother Micki Burris (Richard). He also leaves 23 more nieces and nephews, many cousins, aunts and uncles and a beloved dog, Chloe. They all love him dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11 a.m at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit family on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
