Ann Snider

May 23, 1933 — April 26, 2021

Ann Seifert Snider, born May 23, 1933, passed away peacefully at home on April 26, 2021 with her children nearby.  Mom was born at home in Bountiful, Utah to Martin Wilhelm Seifert and Myrtle Leora Wayman Seifert.  She was born a few minutes after her twin brother.

She attended elementary school in Davis County.  The family moved to Salt Lake where she attended Jr. High and graduated from South High.  She attended the University of Utah and graduated from LDS Business College.

She married Clarence G. Snider Jr. (Kelly) on October 1, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  They had 3 children:  Cheryl (Bill) Duncan, Scott (Connie), Earl (Tami).

Mom was active in her ward.  She served as Primary and Young Woman MIA President.  She was Stake Girl’s Camp Leader and went to girl’s camp several years.  She enjoyed being able to be with her daughter at camp. She loved doing Genealogy and served several years in the local Family History Library. She was an excellent seamstress and quilter.  After Dad passed away she learned how to paint.  She shared this talent with many as we have been able to have her paintings in our homes.  She loved to travel with family and friends and created wonderful memories. She was able to travel to Germany with her sister and 3 nieces to see the home where her father lived.  She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by her 3 children, her brother Lee (Cherri) Seifert, 9 grandchildren, Adam, Sarah, Annalynne, Kimberly, Casey, Stacey, Chantel, Chad and Lindsey,  20 (plus 2 on the way) great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings Lorine Spencer, Beth Faddis, and her twin brother Martin Seifert.
