Aldene Marshall Jones

Aldene Marshall Jones, 83, of Kaysville passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017, released from her aging body to join our Savior. She was born August 3, 1933 in Minersville, UT, the youngest child of Elmer and Effie Marshall. She married Donald E. Jones on November 8, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. They lived in Milford, UT until 1970, and then moved to Kaysville, UT where they currently reside.

Aldene loved her family, God and country. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings. She and Donald served a mission in Palmyra, NY and later served in the Bountiful Temple. She loved gathering the family together, playing with the children, and entertaining. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and maintaining a clean, organized home.

She is survived by husband Donald, and children: Sheila (David) Stewart, Jeannie (David) Nay, Raymond (Anne) Jones, Chad (Lori) Jones, and Gary Jones; 17 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. She was the last to join her parents and 8 siblings who preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Kaysville 4th Ward, 875 E 200 N Kaysville.   Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road.
