It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Zachary J Harris, a beloved husband, father, son, brother uncle and friend. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the age of 53, He was born on September 19, 1971, in Phoenix, AZ.
Zach married the love of his life Lisa on October 9, 2021, and built a life together in Clinton, UT; Zach’s greatest adventure began with his sons, AJ (Abby) Harris, Ryan (Hannah) Howell; He was blessed with his bonus children Michele (Brady) Parry and Dylan Petersen, Dad, Johnny (Lise) Rauzi; Sister, Melissa (Zachary) Gunn; and grandchildren, Hazel Harris, Olive and Oakley Howell, Keelii and Aidyn Spendlove and Harper and Cru Parry. He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew and his brother, Jeremy along with his grandparents.
Zach cherished his time at Sourdough Wilderness Ranch, enjoying camping with his wife, kids and grandkids during the summer and snowmobiling together in the winter. Zach loved to ride his motorcycle with whoever wanted to go with him. He and his wife Lisa would ride together along with his Uncle Dewey, kids and grandkids and many friends. At the time of his passing Zach was employed by Associated Foods as a driver/trainer and took great pride in his job. Zach genuinely loved and cared about all the people on his daily work routes. He looked forward to going to work every day.
Zach treated everyone like family and made sure you knew he loved you with his whole heart.
Please join us for a celebration of Zach’s life to be held at the Roy Hope Community Center 5051 S. 1900 W., Roy, UT, 84067 on Saturday July 12, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm where friends and family are invited to join in remembering a man who brought so much joy to their lives.
A special thank you to Intermountain Hospice for taking the best care of him for such a short time. Also, to the many friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family that came to visit before his passing.
