Zachary Kevin La Fleur

Zachary Kevin La Fleur passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at age 28, of Cardiac Sarcoma. He was a 2011 graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University earning his Juris Doctorate.

He was a lifelong Vikings Football fan, and was passionate about politics. Zach''s many accomplishments included Eagle Scout, Navy service, three undergraduate degrees, the Brewer Professionalism award for outstanding law student in his class, two published law papers, and he also served as a research intern for Senator Jeff Sessions in the United States Senate.

In the 8th grade, Zach and his wife Rachel split top student honors at Tortolita Middle School in Tucson, Arizona which was the beginning of their relationship.

He is survived by his wife of 3 A½ years, Rachel, his parents Jacqui and Mark More, Kevin and Carol La Fleur, and his siblings Braxton More, Alexandra More, Kyah La Fleur, Tawnie La Fleur, his grandparents Pamela Gardner and Konold William "Bill" and Ruth La Fleur.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

A private burial will follow the service.
