Yvonne Margaret Gallegos Vasquez, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10, 2013.

She was born May 6, 1960 in Ogden Utah, the daughter of Manuel and Emma Gallegos. She married Brian Vasquez on November 26, 2005 in Clearfield, UT.

Yvonne worked as the head cook for Manuel''s El Burrito Restaurant for 13 years. She graduated from Stevens Henager College as a medical assistant and was working at Herefordshire Clinic.

She enjoyed camping, making crafts, cooking for her family, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren Alexia and Angelo.

Yvonne had a wonderful personality and laugh. Her giggles would fill the room and make others smile. With such a contagious personality she made many friends during her lifetime. She will always be remembered as a fun-loving person and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Her memory will be carried on by her husband, Brian Vasquez; first love, Randy Rael and daughter Allie Calderon; stepsons Brian Vasquez Jr., Johnny Vasquez, and Cody (Heather) Rael; stepdaughter Silvia (Jose) Guzman; parents Manuel and Emma Gallegos; brothers Mike (Kathy) Gallegos; Manuel Jr. (Jenifer) Gallegos; and sisters, Michelle (Gino) Rinaldi, Maria (Geoff) Banta; Marie (Carl) Harwood; her grandchildren Alexia and Angelo and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Manuel and Laura Martinez; Manuel and Stella Gallegos; Lee and Margaret Padilla.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.
