Yvonne Elison Brown, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 30, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of George Dale and Afton King Bennett Elison. Yvonne was raised in Kaysville, attended Davis High School, and graduated from DAVC.
On November 29, 1961, she married her sweetheart, Richard Alvin (Dick) Brown, in Kaysville, Utah. Together they built a beautiful life, raising their family in Kaysville, spending 3 ½ wonderful years in Arizona, and later settling in Clearfield.
Yvonne was involved in the Utah Arabian Horse Club, PTA, and enjoyed golfing and bowling. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren participate in their activities.
She is survived by her children: Kim (Dan) Timmerman of West Valley, Shane (Allyson) Brown of North Ogden, and DeDe (Travis) Johnson of Clearfield; nine grandchildren: Bridget, Mason, Caden, Cooper, Tess, Elli, Bailey, and Jordyn; and step-granddaughter Tera (Wes) Novack and their children Dylan and Ashton. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Dax, Finley, and Benny.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Dick; grandson Preston; sister Pam Reeves; brother Stan Elison; and sister Kathy Carling.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday September 3, 2025, at 11:00 at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Her graveside service will be held in Kaysville City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband and beside her grandson.
