Xavier Jose Bernal, 20, was tragically taken from us too soon on December 27, 2022. He was born April 15, 2002, in Ogden, UT to Jose Ricardo Bernal and Lissandra Brisel Revuelta-Blancas.
He was loved by all those that knew him. Xavier was a great cousin, nephew, friend, son and grandson. He enjoyed going on drives and listening to music. He loved food if you knew him you knew he was always eating. He was a man of culture he traveled many places and experienced many different things.
He was a people person no matter what your background was he always saw the good in you. Xavier truly had a hand that could match his heart. It was pure and golden. He had a presence that could change your whole mood just by being around him. Those that were lucky enough to have him in their lives would say how much even a simple conversation with him would impact you. He was full of life. You could always find him with a smile on his face and a contagious laugh to be shared.
Not only did he have a one of a kind personality he had a strong drive to live a good and fulfilling life. He was constantly looking for work and finding ways to build a good future for himself and his family. He was the definition of selfless. He left a forever impression on all those that knew him and though he will be greatly missed his memories and stories will live on through the peoples who lives he touched!
Xavier is survived by his parents, Jose and Lissandra; his sister, Nia; his brothers, Randy and Josiah; his grandma, Angelita and his grandma, Juanita.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th St. Ogden, UT. Friends may visit with family on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
