Wilma Wood Reaser 1926-2012

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Wilma Wood Reaser peacefully passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Bountiful, Utah on July 3, 1926 to Ralph and Afton Wood. She grew up in Bountiful, attended Davis High School and the University of Utah.

Wilma spent most of her adult life in Southern California where she raised her family. She taught junior high school for 20 years and upon her retirement, she was elected to the local school board where she served for many years.

She has always been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she has served as a YW President, Primary President, and several times as a Relief Society President. She has a great love for family history and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was an outstanding seamstress and quilter.

Wilma is survived by her children: Dennis (Jan) Jorgensen, Wendy (Andrew) Drake and Randy Jorgensen; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn (Donna) Wood and sister, Jerry Jordan.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Burch Creek 3rd Ward Chapel, 5161 South 1300 East, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
