William Maurice Stitzer

William M. Stitzer, 78, passed away surrounded by family Saturday, October 12, 2013 at his home.

He was born August 22, 1935 in Sheperdsville, Kentucky the son of and Tena Conner McNear.

William married Mary E. Ashmore on November 6, 1965 in Port La Vaca, Texas.

He retired from the U.S. Air Force and had lived in Kentucky, Texas, Oklahoma, Germany, Italy and Utah.

William was an active member of the LDS Church and held various callings.

He enjoyed model trains and gardening.

Surviving are his wife Mary, son William (Donna), daughter Rhonda, four grandchildren, Jack, Mike, Carrie, Shawn and brother, Jimmy.

Preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery, Kaysville, Utah.
