William Van Hoff 1927- 2012

Kaysville: William (Bill) Van Hoff age 85 passed away Sunday February 26, 2012. Bill was born January 3, 1927 in Patterson, New Jersey a son of Leendert & Evertje Van Hoff. He married Clara L. Cracroft August 17, 1948 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. A loving husband of 64 years; a father of eight, grandfather of 25, and a great grandfather of 34.

He worked for the gas company for 10-years and managed his farm for 15 months before working for the Deseret Mill as a truck driver for 30-years until he retired. He was very active in the LDS Church his entire life holding many different callings. He is survived by his wife Clara L. living in Kaysville; children, Bob (Janet), John (Jana), Bonnie (Kevin), JoAnn (Frank), Robin, Jeanette (Lynn), and David. His daughter Vickie precedes him in returning home to our Father in Heaven.

Funeral service will be 11 am, Thursday March 1, 2012 at the Kaysville Rock Chapel 25 S. 200 E. Friends may visit with family Wednesday Feb 29th 6:00-8:00 pm at the Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary 400 N Main and at the church Thursday 9:30-10:30 pm prior to services. Interment at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
