Listen to Obituary

William “Bill” John Turner left us on September 2, 2025, surrounded by family after suffering a heart attack. Bill was born to Sharrie Blakeley and Kim Turner on March 1, 1964.

Bill attended schools in both Weber and Ogden School Districts, including Weber High School.

Bill had three sons, Jon, Tyler, and Devin Turner, as well as two grandsons that he adored, Jasper and Eldon. He loved being a father and grandfather. He shared many hunting and fishing trips with his boys.

Bill worked at HAFB for more than 36 years, retiring June 1,2021. He recently went back to work part time for a USAF civilian contractor.

Bill had such a big heart, he was always helping or taking in someone in need. He was always the first one there when you needed anything.

Bill was quick witted, had an infectious laugh, a big smile, and always left you with a big hug and a “love you”. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, golfing, music and good food. He always had something on the stove, grill or smoker. He loved working in his yard and enjoying the beautiful blooms. He along with Tyler and friends, recently renovated the backyard with a pond and lighting.

Bill is survived by his two sons, Tyler and Devin Turner; two grandsons, Jasper and Eldon Turner; mother and stepfather, Sharrie and Robert Anderson; his father, Kim Turner.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jon Turner; and his grandparents, Darrell and Jean Blakeley, and Lawrence and Glenda Turner.
