Wayne Spencer Cahoon

October 13, 1947 — March 22, 2022

Wayne Spencer Cahoon was born October 13, 1947 to Spencer and Mary Lou in Ogden Utah.  He passed away March 22, 2022 in Dallas, Georgia with Rose at his side.

He is survived by his wife Rose and her two children, Michelle and Sean; his four children, Julie, Nikole, Bryan and Anthony, 18 grandchildren, and 6 great- grandchildren.

Wayne was a hard working, loving, and light-hearted man.  He thoroughly enjoyed having a good time, loved to make people laugh and was even referred to as “Uncle Fun” by many. He taught his kids things like the value of a day's work, how to golf, and how much fun a Disney vacation can really be!

Wayne is a Vietnam veteran, where he served in the Army repairing radios in aircraft.  He continued serving his country as a civil servant with the Department of Defense for 30 years, retiring in Sierra Vista, Arizona.  He and Rose moved back to Ogden, Utah and shared many happy years with his parents.  They decided to move to Dallas, Georgia to be close to Rose's daughter Michelle.  This is where Wayne spent his final years. He enjoyed taking Rose out to the movies, going out to eat, walking the dogs and hitting the gym, bicycling and traveling.

He was a special man who was loved by many.  He will be missed but never forgotten.
