KAYSVILLE - Walwyn Thomas Green, age 98, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012.

Born March 22, 1913 in Kaysville, Utah son of George and Alice Owen Green.

Married Marjorie Webster February 27, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Graduated from Davis High School in 1932. Spent most of his life in Kaysville, Utah with his beloved and eternal companion, Marjorie. Served in various positions in the LDS Church including Bishop and officiator in the Ogden LDS Temple. Served as a missionary in Australia. Spent most of his adult life in the retail grocery business, associated with Bowman''s Market for 50 years.

Veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Air Force in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Germany and France.

Survived by his wife Marjorie Webster Green, daughter, Marsha Green (William) Nielsen, CA; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents George and Alice Green, brother, Clifford Green and sister, Mary Bacon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 West Center Street. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
