Walter Wesley Harrop

Walter Wesley Harrop, born November 10, 1959 to Wesley and Mary Fae Harrop. Father to Jody Varney (Jim Varney), Wesley Harrop, and Kenny Harrop, step-father to Melanie Perry, Shane Mower (Amber Mower), and Josh Monson and beloved husband to Carolyn Harrop. He is survived by his two sisters Kate Averett (Jay Averett) and Rosie Jones (Mark Jones) along with is two brothers Dean Harrop and Wayne Harrop.

Walter was a very lively and enthusiastic man. His world revolved around his children and 11 grandchildren. He would be the first one to go out of his way to help another. Even though he loved to have fun and enjoyed every bit of life, he was a very hard worker.

His family extended further than just his immediate blood relatives. He held a special place in his heart for many a friend and considered them close family. The Williams have grown with us for generations and we would like to give them a special thanks and appreciation for continuing to love and support us.

A child''s love for his father is one based off love, respect, and hero worshiping. Our father to us was a great man who accomplished many things in his life, and in our opinion his greatest accomplishment was instilling in his children the love and respect of family. Because of him, his children have been there for each other, to love and support each other during the most difficult time of losing the one who taught them to love and live life to the fullest. Walter Wesley Harrop, Our Father, Our Daddy, Our Hero. We will love you forever! Rest in peace and may pain never trouble you again.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Aultorest Cemetery.
