Virginia "Ginny" Mildred Brown passed away peacefully at her home in West Haven, Utah, on June 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Canton, Ohio, on June 4, 1943, to John and Mildred Grinnan, Ginny was the eldest of six sisters. She married her high school sweetheart, John Brown, on June 15, 1962, and together they built a loving family with their two children, Debby and Kenny.
Ginny was a devoted Christian with a deep passion for serving her community. She found joy in attending and volunteering at church and gave her time generously to the Pregnancy Medical Clinic. With a warm and welcoming spirit, she worked as a greeter at RC Willey for many years, cherishing the opportunity to meet new people.
Creativity was at the heart of Ginny's life. She had a remarkable talent for painting, drawing, home design, scrapbooking, cross-stitching, and photography. Above all, she treasured time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ginny is survived by her loving husband, John; her children, Debby (Fred) and Kenny; her sisters, Joan and Nancy; her grandchildren, Remington (Mona), Kaiya, Arianna, Makenna, and her bonus granddaughter Sierra (Omar); and her great-grandchildren, Hadley and Penny. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Linda, Patty, and Carol.
Ginny's kindness, creativity and unwavering faith left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Friends may visit with the family Monday, June 9, 2025 at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Services will take place at 2:00 p.m., at the Mortuary.
