Surrounded in the loving arms of his wife and children, Viliami Pasa Finau, took his last breath and returned to our Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 74.
Viliami was born on April 23, 1951, in Ha'apai, Tonga to his parents Tevita Finau and Penina Funaki Finau who are preceded in death. He is survived by his sisters, Amelia Tupou Afemui, Izabel Kula Fifita (deceased) and Vainga Usai.
He was a man of faith, a loving husband, and a devoted father to his children, Amelia Finau Tupou, Vainga Finau Uasi, Vainga, Melekoula, Tevita, and Viliami (deceased). He dedicated his life for his family through working tirelessly to care and provide always. He loved his family very much.
Viliami was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His unwavering faith helped endure hardships and health challenges. He loved attending the Ogden Temple where much of his time was spent. He truly believed that his temple attendance would bless his family daily.
Viliami was the kind of person who brought peace, encouragement, and faith to everyone. He was a true friend to many and a wonderful example of Christlike love.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the West Park Tongan Ward, 5930 South 2200 West, Roy, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.
