Vickie Thompson Johnson

Vickie Thompson Johnson passed away peacefully at the Avalon Care Center in Bountiful, Utah on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

Vickie was a very compassionate, loving, and devoted mother to her children. She will be greatly missed and leaves a large void in the lives of all who knew her.

Vickie was born December 16, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Blain and Irene Thompson. Vickie’s father always called her their Christmas baby. She was the second child in a family of four children.

Vickie graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1973. She attended the University of Utah and studied to become a Registered Nurse.

Vickie married Don Beesley in the Salt Lake Temple on February 28, 1975. Together they had four children, Nicole, Nathan, Nicholas, and Nolan Beesley. She later married Jerome Johnson on February 5, 2005. 

Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Don Beesley; her second husband, Jerome Johnson; her daughter, Nicole Clark; Nicole’s husband, Matt Clark; her two sons, Nathan and Nolan Beesley; her sister, Debbie Robinson, and her father, Blaine Thompson.

She is survived by her son, Nicholas Beesley; 6 grandchildren; her brothers, Kevin (Tena) Thompson and Stephen (Christine) Thompson; and her mother, Irene Thompson.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Syracuse Mortuary, 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse, Utah 84075. The graveside service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, 84106. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
