Vance Ure

August 1, 1982 — May 8, 2024

Clinton

Vance Ure passed away peacefully at his home on May 8th, 2024.

He was born August 1, 1981, in Salem Oregon. He was adopted by Steve and Anita Ure.

He married his long-time best friend and soulmate Maria V Montes on September 17, 2005.

He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing with David and Rosanna. He loved to cook and hang out with friends and family while barbecuing. Loved going on vacations with his wife and family and friends. Vance has a big heart for also taking responsibility to care for his brothers and sister whom he loved very much. He worked in the deli department at Harmon's, as a cook in a nursing facility, a respite care worker for Weber Human Services. He also helped kids with autism and worked at Cosh working with siblings.

He was a lifelong DALLAS COWBOYS FAN. Loved all his nieces and nephews. Vance was full of life and did anything and everything, nothing stopped him from doing the things he loved. He was the life of the party. And truly loved by more than just his family. Had a warm heart and infectiously pleasant personality. He would always call his wife “My Queen” and had her on a pedestal.

He is survived by his wife Maria V Ure; father and mother-in-law, Jose and Cindy Montes; father and mother, Steve and Anita Ure; brothers, Steven C, Jeffery, Chris, Anthony and Michael Ure; sisters, Sherry (Brian) Slater, Stephanie Salazar and Barbara Ure; sister-in-law, Rossana (David) Montes and Lorna Cázares; brother-in- law,  Frank Montes.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Burl Vance Gilland and Benita Ruth Potter and brother-in-law, Jose Montes Jr.

“Vance was looking forward to the day his nephew, Boni graduates. It was one of his biggest wishes and to make sure that everything was perfect and comes out good, for his special day!”

Arrangements are held by his wife Maria V Ure.
