Valentine C. Couturier

We celebrate the remarkable life of Valentine C. Conturier, a beloved soul who graced this world with warmth and kindness. Born on March 23, 1940, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Valentine's journey came to a peaceful close on May 9, 2024, in Kaysville, Utah.
 
In the realm of relationships, Valentine's heart found its truest beats. She was the daughter of Carl J. Constanty and Sophie Moskalski – individuals who surely bequeathed upon her the gift of love and resilience. Through life's winding paths, she walked hand in hand with Ron Gregor, with whom she welcomed their beloved son Steve into this world. Following life's changes and challenges with admirable strength, Valentine later found companionship with Richard L. Couturier; their union on December 28th, 1986, in Evanston Wyoming marked a chapter of shared love and harmony.
 
Valentine was a person of diverse passions and interests, embodying grace and compassion in every aspect of her being. She found solace and joy in the company of horses, dogs, cats, and her cherished pets Pooper, Coco, Tippy, and Lucy mama Cat. Gardening was not merely a hobby for her but a way to nurture life itself. Her culinary skills shone brightly as she delighted in cooking traditional Polish cuisines that carried flavors of heritage and love. Furthermore, her dedication to serving others as a volunteer at the Ogden Union train station reflected her selfless spirit.
 

She is preceded in death by father Carl, mother Sophie, son Steven, and brother Phillip.

Funeral Services will be held Friday May 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main St. Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Friday May 24, 2024, from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. at the mortuary prior to services. 

Though Valentine may have departed from our physical realm, her spirit remains etched within our hearts – an ever-present source of comfort and inspiration. May her legacy endure through the memories we hold dear and the love that continues to bind us together.
