Una Mae Richardson

Una Mae Richardson, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2011. She was born on February 23, 1921 to William Ora and Almeda Waters Montgomery in Eden, Utah.

On November 10, 1942, Una married William Vernon Richardson. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1995.

Una was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Una loved reading good books. She spent hours gardening in her yard. She enjoyed watching game shows, playing games and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Dennis V. (Colleen) Richardson, Roy; Dian (Ronald) Simpson, American Fork; Michael D. Richardson, North Ogden; Nila J. Hatch, Ogden; Paul (Cathie) Richardson, North Ogden; and Mary B. Malloy, North Ogden; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; brother Robert (LaRae) Montgomery, North Ogden; and sister Ruth Thurman, Salt Lake City.

Una was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son William C. Richardson, one grandson, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, North Ogden Ben Lomond Cemetery.
