Tyler Chad Teuscher

August 1, 2003 — December 1, 2022

Roy

On December 1st 2022, our sweet beautiful Tyler was surrounded by loved ones as he left this Earth life and into the loving arms of our Savior.

Tyler was born August 1st 2003 to Chad and August. Tyler had beautiful blue eyes that captured our hearts. Tyler was a charming and mischievous child that brought so much light, laughter and joy into the hearts of those that knew him. Tyler was filled with love and his countenance shone bright.

Tyler was born into a very broken body but, he persevered with determination and no one could stand in his way. Tyler was a huge spirit in a body that attempted to limit him but, Tyler changed lives. His beautiful blue eyes and charming style melted the hearts of those he came into contact with.

Tyler was born with a rare disease that robbed of hearing, mobility, and good vision but, he fought and his many wonderful doctors worked tirelessly to help him and found a name for his disease and a treatment to improve his quality of life. How grateful we are to Dr. Justin Alvey and Dr. Lorenzo Botto of University of Utah and the Penelope program. They forever changed our lives and healed our hearts.

Tyler had many wonderful friends at the school for the Deaf and Blind. What an incredible blessing they were in our lives. All of the mischievous tricks Tyler pulled at the school kept everyone on their toes.

They were our greatest support system and we will always hold a special place in our hearts for them.

Our ward families were beyond amazing; most especially the youth who went above and beyond to serve Tyler. He loved them all. Our hearts were healed by so many acts of service.

How would Tyler ever have made it without his big sister Nikki who has sacrificed so much to be Tyler’s caregiver. Nikki gave and did so much to improve Tyler’s quality of life and Tyler loved her so, so much.

Tyler has only known love in his life. Love from his younger brother Carson and his little buddy Noah.

Love from his sisters Anna and Nikki and so many, many others that blessed his life.

Tyler is a true angel. He is a son, a brother and a friend. He is everything to us and the many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him with pure intent.

Tyler is surely reunited with his great grandpa bear that he adored so much as well as his great grandpa Seymour who visited him often and told him great stories. What peace it brings to our hearts to know he is with them.

Tyler is survived by his parents Chad and August of Hooper his brother’s Carson and Noah and his sisters Nikki and Anna. Grandparents Scott and LaDawn Teuscher, Roy and Steven and Laura Boyd, Hooper and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A very special thanks to IHC hospice, they brought love and light to us and Tyler.

Another special thanks to their volunteer Janet that made individual hand molds for us to remember Tyler.

Please consider a donation in Tyler’s name to University of Utah’s Rare disease Penelope Program
