Tracey Valdez Quintana, 60, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, December 5, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1965, the daughter of Kelly S and Juanita Speer Valdez, in Ogden, Utah. She grew up in West Haven and Clinton and graduated from Weber High School. She spent most of her life in the Ogden and West Haven area.
She married Johnny Quintana on June 16, 1984, they had two children and later divorced.
Tracey was Catholic and went to Catechism when she was younger with her siblings.
She worked at Autoliv for many years, but her greatest treasure was being a mom and grandmother and spending time with her family. She loved watching football, especially the Minnesota Vikings; her team and her hobby. She would watch football whenever it was on.
Tracey is survived by her son, Joseph Quintana; daughter, Brittany Quintana (Chris); three beautiful grandchildren; father, Kelly S. Valdez; brothers, Kelly S. Valdez Jr. and Kelly A. (Jamie) Valdez; and sister, Annette Valdez. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Valdez; her grandfather and grandmother, Julian and Sophie Speer; her grandfather and grandmother, Marcelino and Antonia Valdez; and her cousin, Henry Valdez.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 214 24th Street, Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 5 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
