Tommy Alan Rivera Bettini, 43, passed away on May 10, 2026, in Ogden, Utah. He was born on March 31, 1983, in Santiago, Chile, to Juan Carlos and Beatriz Rivera.
Tommy is survived by his loving parents, Juan Carlos and Beatriz Rivera; his siblings, Nicole, Kevin, and Andy; his bonus brothers, Fredi and Dakota; his grandmother, Magdalena; his uncles, Cristian, Pablo, and Mikol; his sisters-in-law, Baylee and Jade; his brother-in-law, Shane; his beloved goddaughter, Tiare; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Lana, Leo, Koa, Taytum, Salem, and Brody.
Tommy was an amazing son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend. He was deeply devoted to his family, and there was nothing more important to him than the people he loved. His family meant everything to him, and he made sure they always felt supported, protected, and cared for. In return, Tommy meant the world to his family, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
Tommy was the best big brother anyone could ask for. No matter how many prank calls his siblings put him through over the years, he was always there whenever anyone needed him. He cared deeply for his siblings and made sure, until his very last breath, they knew just how much he loved them. His love for his family was constant, unconditional, and something they will carry with them forever.
He loved being an uncle and adored his nieces and nephews more than words can express. Tommy also held a special bond with his goddaughter, Tiare, who brought him endless pride and joy.
Tommy was truly the life of the party always making people laugh, bringing everyone together, and making sure those around him were taken care of. His friendships ran deep, and the love he shared with his bonus brothers, Fredi and Dakota, reflected the kind of loyal and genuine person he was.
He had a passion for good food, tequila, football, and unforgettable memories with the people he loved. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Tommy never missed a game and made sure everyone around him knew exactly who he was rooting for.
In true Tommy fashion, his wish was simple: “I WANT A PARTY AND NO CRYING.”
A celebration of life and carne asada will be held in Tommy’s honor on May 23rd at Mom and Pop’s house. Additional details will be shared shortly with family and friends.
Tommy’s presence, humor, loyalty, and unconditional love for his family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary.
