Tom was the son of John and Annie. He was born on Wednesday, September 26, 1945, in Cache County. Growing up he was the second oldest of four children. Family was everything to Tom, anytime family wanted to visit or needed him he was always there. He would light up whenever his children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren were near him. He always was there to pick the grandchildren up from school even if he didn’t need to, was at every birthday, dance recital, and graduation that he could be. He withstood all of life’s challenges, he never complained and always put others first.
Tom, while in high school, met a girl from another school. She turned out to be the love of his life Dorothy Richardson. They were married on Friday, October 9, 1964, in Layton, Utah. Together they raised three children, the love they had for each other grew exponentially every year.
