Timothy Holt

Timothy Donald Holt

1994 ~ 2021

Timothy Donald Holt, age 27, died of liver failure Sept 3, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Timothy was born March 7, 1994 in Bountiful, Utah. He was the second of 2 children adopted by Donald (Don) Holt and Camille John. Timothy spent most of his life in Layton, Utah. However, he also lived in Kuwait, Dubai, and Anaheim, California.

Timothy was born with charisma and packed full of natural talents. He was involved in many productions. He was “Tiny Tim” in Scrooge, A Christmas Carol at Beverly’s Terrace Plaza Playhouse, “Chip” in Beauty and the Beast, at Layton High School, and “Fritz” in The Nutcracker with the Clytie Adams School of Ballet performed in the Browning Center at Weber State University.

Timothy was a natural musician. He loved playing the flute. He participated with the Davis High

School marching band. He was also in the orchestra for some Layton High School musicals.

Timothy attended several different schools. Some were Universal American School of Dubai, Central Davis Junior High, North Layton Jr. High, Layton High and East Hollywood High.

Timothy traveled extensively with his family. His favorite country to visit was Africa.

Timothy loved anything Disney. He decided at a young age that he wanted to work at Disneyland and doggedly pursued that goal.  He did get the job and many of his fondest friends and memories were made there.

Timothy loved stylish clothes. He loved experimenting with different hairstyles and colors.  He finally ended up with a favorite bright red color and gained the nickname of “Red Velvet.”

From the moment he was born, Timothy was a force to be reckoned with.  These past few weeks he has stayed true to that pattern and surprised us all with his strength, resilience, a little sass and a lot of class.

He will be lovingly missed by his mother, Camille Holt, sister, Jamila (Skylar) Lowe, niece, Andilynn Dawn and his loyal pets. We know his reunion with his dad, Donald Holt, Grandma and Grandpa John, Grandma and Grandpa Holt, and Grandma Kay was a joyful one.
