Tim Henderson

Timothy Ross Henderson of Bountiful, Utah, passed away at home on August 15, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on September 10, 1961, in Salt Lake City to Herbert Nile and Suzanne June Henderson.

Tim lived a life defined by quiet generosity, empathy, and compassion. A proud graduate of the inaugural class of Woods Cross High School in 1979, he continued his education at Dixie College and later earned a certificate in video production. He worked as a journeyman printer at Franklin Covey. When health challenges prompted a career change, Tim found his calling as a devoted caregiver to the elderly, offering the same gentle strength and attentiveness that defined his character.

Tim’s greatest gift was his heart. He provided sensitive, loving care to many throughout his life, including to his partner, Larry. He was a devoted uncle who delighted in giving thoughtful gifts to his nieces, nephews, and others without expectation.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: shopping at Harmon’s, cooking delicious meals, and sharing culinary creations with others. A passionate fan of the Utah Jazz, University of Utah Runnin’ Utes, and the Salt Lake Golden Eagles hockey team, Tim also stood proudly with the Utah Pride movement. His love for life extended to nature and he was affectionately known as the “plant whisperer,” reviving greenery with the same care he gave to his people.

Tim is survived by his parents, Herbert and Suzanne Henderson of Bountiful, Utah; his sisters Kathleen (Tim) Seeley of Kaysville, Utah, Marianne Henderson of Bountiful, Utah, Amy Watson (Matt) of Layton, Utah; and his brother Matt Henderson of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Bountiful, Utah. Family and friends may visit Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah.
