Theresa Sliger

Theresa G. Sliger, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Lakeview Hospital.

She was born April 2, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to Robert C. and Madeline Morgan Gebele.

On June 4, 1953, Terry married Douglas R. Sliger in West Point, New York. They moved to Utah in 1972 after living all over the country while Doug was serving in active duty. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2006.

She was a member of the Catholic Church. She supported the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Heart Association. She loved time spent with her family.

Terry is survived by her children, Doug Sliger, Jr., Clinton; Liz (Mel) Bingham, Roy; John Sliger, Ogden; Mike (Cindy) Sliger, Sammamish, WA; Pete (Sheri) Sliger, Hooper; Dave (Rebecca) Sliger, Gig Harbor, WA; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and one son, James R. Sliger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 12th at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South.

The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South with a family led Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
