Terry Lamont Carter passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at home, surrounded by family.

He was born in Santaquin, Utah on August 8, 1938, the son of Leslie and Arvilla Carter. He graduated from Payson High School.

In October of 1956, Terry met and married Bonnie Lou Jensen. Together, they had four children and were married for 62 glorious years. Bonnie was his loving care taker this past year.

Terry enjoyed numerous sport activities. He participated in hunting, fishing, golf and cheering on his favorite NFL team the Green Bay Packers. He and Bonnie frequented Wendover often and Terry liked to play his favorite slot machines.

Terry is survived by his wife, Bonnie, four children, Cindy (Bruce) Talbot, Todd (Cara) Carter, Terry Lynn (Kathy) Carter and Julie (Tab) Tucker, 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Ephraim Park Cemetery. The family will meet with friends Monday, April 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family would like to thank the staff at Encompass Hospice Care for their professionalism and support throughout this process. The individuals that cared for Terry went above and beyond and Terry grew to love them all.
