Teri Lynn Kihlstrom Smith

Teri Lynn (Kihlstrom) Smith of Hooper City, Utah passed peacefully on the evening of October 27th, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

Teri was born in Ogden, Utah on April 20th, 1955, to Judy and Eugene Kihlstrom. She attended Ben Lomond High school where she met the love of her life, Bruce Smith. They were married on July 30th, 1972 (53 years), and their family grew from there. They joyfully welcomed four sons, Joshua, Daniel, Andrew, and Preston Smith who were the light in Teri's eyes. She loved "her boys". She loved hosting family dinners, celebrating birthdays, Christmas, watching football, and family dinners. They filled their home with their kids, grandkids, and friends.

Teri enjoyed her life as a homemaker, crafter, gardener, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved decorating her house and yard for all the holidays and seasons with lights and flowers making her yard sparkle.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Smith; children, Joshua Smith (Julie Medina), Daniel Smith (Lindsay Mason), Andrew Smith, and Preston Smith (Rachel Goodwin); grandchildren, Shyanne (Brenton), Briggs, River, Elizabeth, Becca, Alyssa, Josie, Madelyn, and Hadlee; and great-grandchildren, Koda and Ollie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Reynold Kihlstrom and Robert Kihlstrom and her sister, Laurie (Kihlstrom) Whitten.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at the Hooper Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will be held for close family and friends at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5375 S. 5900 W., Hooper afterwards.
