Teresa Muro Sánchez

LAYTON - Our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Teresa Muro Sánchez passed away peacefully on August 3, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born October 15 ^th , 1939 in Guadalajara - Jalisco, Mexico to Juan Muro and Angela Sánchez Mendoza. Teresa was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her eight children: José, Irma, Miguel, Martha, Luzardo, América, Rocío, and Erendira; thirty-four grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; her brothers: Guillermo, Refugio, Pedro, and Julio; and her lifelong friends. She was strong, fun, loving, a great cook, and had a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Ellison Park Ward, 2160 W. Gordon Avenue, Layton.  Friends may visit family Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
