Tamara Coletti Dahlstrom peacefully passed on March 31, 2026, with her loving husband of 49 years, Neil Dahlstrom, by her side after a courageous two-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Tammy is loved deeply by her family who are eternally grateful for their mother and grandmother whose sweet spirit is now blessing others in heaven. Tammy was visited by many family members and friends during her final days and passed peacefully at the age of 82.
Tammy was born and raised in Pleasant View, Utah to parents Donna Weaver and James Coletti, with brother Ronnie and sisters Susan and Nena. Tammy and Neil were sealed together for eternity in the Oakland Temple of The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints. Faith, family, and service were important to Tammy throughout her life. She was a devoted church member. She diligently served in many callings, from Primary teacher to Relief Society President. Tammy and Neil served as missionaries at the Oakland Temple Visitor’s Center for 8 years, where they loved serving the community and missionaries.

One of her favorite memories of the farm was driving the tractor while pulling bales of hay. She participated in Utah 4-H in clothing, with her mother as the club leader. Tammy loved that her mother baked a birthday cake each year, the day after Christmas. She was a cheerleader and cherished friends in the Weber High School Class of 1962, which included a memorable competition in California where the squad placed first over 65 schools. She opened a beauty salon after high school and cut hair throughout her life, including the past year!
Tammy resided in Danville, California for 52 years. She loved to serve others. She was thoughtful and selfless; she tirelessly served her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, friends and ward members. She loved to cook and had excellent culinary skills, including Italian family polenta. She operated a catering business for many years. She loved playing golf and served as President of the Ladies’ 18-Hole Golf Club at Crow Canyon Country Club. She also enjoyed the cabin in Truckee, California. She loved Christmas and won annual holiday decorating awards; her exterior decorations were enjoyed by many, and her interior decorations were meticulous. She enjoyed beautifully wrapping and giving presents. Her life of service blessed countless individuals, from primary children to the elderly. She taught others to serve by example. Her husband patiently and lovingly served her for the past two years, and church members compassionately reciprocated her decades of service to others. She was thoughtful to the end of life, telling caretakers daily that she loved them.
