Taelor Christine Richards 1994 – 2022

Taelor was born on April 20, 1994 in Bountiful, Utah. She was the 5^th child in a beautifully blended family and was loved so much.

Taelor had a wonderful childhood filled with love and laughter, traveling, camping trips, and loads of fun. She loved music, dancing, singing and she spread joy to everyone around her.

As she grew older, she struggled with addiction. But even through her addiction, she spread her love and light throughout the world, touching and loving so many people along the way.

She had so many amazing talents. She loved to cook and dreamed of one day being a culinary chef. She was amazing with hair and makeup and dreamed of going into cosmetology and could braid hair like nobody’s business. She loved to crochet and was so good at it, making blankets, stuffed animals, booties, etc. and she could create her own patterns, weaving pictures and words right into her designs.

She gave birth to her beautiful daughter Amilya on June 21, 2022 after a long and difficult labor and delivery. This was the child she had dreamed of having for years and Amilya gave her so much happiness. Taelor was such a good mother to her and attended to her every single need with patience, joy and love. We were all so proud of what an amazing mother she was and how hard she worked to stay clean and do good.

Taelor also had a gift for being able to relate to everyone. She made friends easily and had many. But the biggest thing was the relationships she had within her own family. She was close to her nieces and had a way of making life fun for the littles in her life.

Taelor passed at home in Layton, Utah with her daughter in her arms on December 14^, 2022.

Taelor was preceded in death by her Obaachan (Grandma) Yoneko Sherman, who was waiting in heaven with open arms to make her transition a little easier. She is survived by her daughter Amilya Huertas, her mother and father Randy and Christine Richards, Her Grandpa Jim Sherman, her sister Dawn (Mike) Mitchell, her brother Mike (Karen) Richards, her brother Bryan (Camie) Norris, her brother Brock Richards, 9 nieces and nephews, and loving cousins who were more like her siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22^nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd.

Friends may visit with family Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday prior to serves from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Mortuary.

The interment will be at 2:00 on December 22^nd at the Riverview Cemetery, located at 175 E. 1200 S., Tremonton, UT 84337
