Suzanne Short Noker

Suzanne Short Noker passed away on April 18, 2023. Suzanne was born July 31, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Francis and Kathleen Short. She is survived by daughter, Lynne (Jerome) McDermott; son, Gary (Shalamar) Fowler; granddaughter,  Haylie (Jordan) Paskett; grandson, Jake (Larissa) Fowler; granddaughter, McKenzie (Cal) Maddox; as well as four great-grandchildren, Blakely, Quinley, Emma and Owen.

 

Her sister, Kathy Condy, predeceased her on August 13, 2022.

 

She loved to play dominos with her great-grandchildren, and they will miss her.

 

She attended Crooked Oak High School where she participated in FHA Club, Mixed Chorus, Pep Club, Oak Den Club and the Science Club. She graduated on May 21, 1963. After graduation she attended beauty school.

 

Suzanne moved to Utah with her first husband, Thomas William Fowler (divorced), and began working with the Internal Revenue Service until her retirement on January 1, 2004. She met the love of her life, William E. Noker, in 1984 and they were married on June 20, 1986. They loved to go camping and fishing, which included going to the beautiful National Parks of the West. They also enjoyed a good game of pinochle with each other and their relatives. William passed away on November 22, 2010 and she missed him every day until her passing.

 

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 26th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary has been entrusted with services.
