Susan Coletti Himelright White, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, after surviving a long battle with health complications.
Susan was born on January 26, 1947, to Donna Weaver and James Coletti. She attended schools in the Weber County area and graduated from Weber High School where she was involved in cheerleading. She met and married her high school sweetheart, Woodrow “Woody” Himelright.
Susan was very creative and talented. As she would let you know, because she is left-handed. She had a passion for sewing, embroidery, and knitting. She could make anything and loved to share her talent with others.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many church callings but was most fondly remembered for her dedicated service in playing the organ.
Susan was a hard worker. She helped her parents on the Coletti Dairy Farm. During her work career, she loved helping people as she worked in a dental office and a variety of school settings. She retired from Weber State University. She enjoyed her employment in education and loved working with students.
Susan loved animals and her favorite were horses. She had a passion for riding horses, training them, and helping children ride them. A highlight of Susan’s was participating with the Weber County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse. She was always so proud to show off her horses. She also participated in Freedom Riders, where she volunteered her time and her horses. She selflessly gave her time and energy to help children experience the joy, confidence, and healing that horses can bring.
Susan’s dream was to continue the Coletti Farm Legacy. Woody and Susan built their forever home at the end of Pleasant View Drive. She took great pride in her home, barn, farm, and all of her animals. She loved it when family and friends would come to visit the Cumberland Ranch.
The pride and joy of Susan’s life were her two sons, Lance and Blair. She was their #1 fan and cheerleader. At all of their sports events or other competitions, everyone always knew that Lance and Blair’s Mom was in the stands cheering them on! She continued cheering on her grandkids in the same way. She loved and admired each of her grandchildren.
Susan found love again, as she married Kenneth White in 2022. Kenny lovingly cared for Susan until her final moments here on earth.
Susan will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. We know that she is rejoicing to be back with family members that were waiting to welcome her into heaven. We hope that all of her running skills came back to her as she ran into her family's arms.
Susan is survived by her current husband, Kenneth White; sons, Lance (Tammy) Himelright, Blair (Cindee) Himelright; two sisters, Tammy (Neal) Dahlstrom and Nena (Mark) Gilleland; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Himelright; parents; and brother, Ronnie Coletti.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the medical personnel, rehabilitation facilities, and Kenny White for the great care they extended to Susan.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2025, at Pleasant View 1st Ward Chapel, 3035 North 1325 West (Jacob’s Mill Road). Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.
